| Here are just a few photos of us preparing to enter the mines, having a good time with our guide, AND OF COURSE: MAKING BOMBS! (come on now, at a dollar a stick and as easy to get as if it were sold at 7/11 how can you blame us for wanting to blow some stuff up!!) |

| They call this mountain "Sierra Rica" (rich earth) because of the vast amounts of silver that it contained. However, the mines have a less than nice history: it is said that you could build a bridge from Potosi all the way to Spain using the bones of the men who died mining the silver that the Spanish exported to make their currency |
