GUATEMALA
Recap: Keeli and I spent 6 weeks in Guatemala.  Originally we had intended to do a month of language school in San Pedro and then travel around for the remaining 2 weeks.  However, at the end of our 1st week of class we got hit by Hurricane Stan. After being stranded for a week with no electricity, no news and no open roads (during which time we volunteered in Panabaj, a little town that was completely wiped out by a massive mud slide), we hiked out.  Took the time for some much needed rest and relaxation in Antigua and then used our remaining time to see as much of Guatemala as possible.  It is an amazing country!
