Antigua is the most European feeling city in guatemala. It has nice plazas and cute streets and after what Keeli, Andrew and I had been dealing with in San Pedro for the last week, we were more than happy to just relax and enjoy the electricity and well stocked restaurants! Some highlights included going out to nice dinners, winning 60 Queztales in a raffle at a local bar! (especially great since I told all the bartenders that I was gonna win before I did! drinks on me!) and of course, relaxing and hanging out with Tara and Erin, our new Aussie friends. It just felt so good to unwind a little and put everything that had just happened in perspective |
